LED strip light power saving knowledge
How much knowledge do you have about LED strip light power saving? Lighting used in daily life is indispensable. We use daily lighting at home, and daily lighting also consumes a lot of electricity and wastes energy. So how can we achieve both energy saving and lighting? Below, Duon Lighting will provide you with some energy-saving tips for LED lights. I hope it will be helpful to you.
1. Energy-saving lamps should not be switched on and off frequently.
Energy-saving lamps consume the most power when started, and every time they are turned on and off, the life of the bulb will be reduced by about 3 hours, so it is recommended to reduce the switching frequency of energy-saving lamps as much as possible.
2. Reasonably choose the lighting degree
For incandescent lamps, generally speaking, 2 watts per square meter of bathroom lighting is sufficient. 4 watts per square meter is enough for the dining room and kitchen. The study and living room should be larger, requiring 8 watts per square meter; the desk lamps and bedside tables can use 15 to 60 watt light bulbs, preferably no more than 60 watts.
If the incandescent lamps used for indoor lighting are changed to energy-saving lamps, the brightness of an 18-watt energy-saving lamp is equivalent to that of a 40-watt ordinary T8 fluorescent tube. If an electronic ballast is used, the energy-saving lamp can be started when the voltage is 150 volts. At this time, it consumes only 0.1 watts per hour, which is low energy consumption and safe.
3. Clean lighting fixtures regularly
When the lamps have not been cleaned for a long time, dust will gradually accumulate on the lamp tubes and reflectors, resulting in a reduction in output efficiency. Therefore, the lamps should be cleaned regularly at least every three months to maintain the output efficiency of the lamps.
4. Replace old lamps regularly
You can choose the newly launched series of energy-saving lamps in tube-in-tube energy-saving lamps. When incandescent lamps and fluorescent lamps are used to 80% of their lifespan, the output beam will be reduced to approximately 85%, so they should be replaced before the end of their lifespan. For office buildings with a large amount of lighting, regular replacement of light sources is particularly important. In addition to saving labor costs for replacing lamps and improving indoor illumination, it can also save electricity.
5. Replace low-efficiency light sources or lamps
Use LED lamps to replace incandescent lamps. Incandescent lamps consume about three times as much power as LED lamps. For places where the lighting time is long or the switches are infrequent, such as living rooms, bedrooms, etc., remove the incandescent lamps and use energy-saving lamps. A series of light sources can instantly achieve the purpose of saving electricity. Saving electricity and saving energy starts from you and me, starting from scratch, saving energy and protecting the environment - just to continue the splendor of the earth!
