High CRI COB strip lights are strip lights with chips encapsulated on flexible boards. Most of the chips are flip-chips, linearly packaged on the PCB, and then a layer of packaging glue mixed with phosphor is dropped directly on the surface of the chip. The high CRI COB lamp strip uses high-density lamp beads, 320 lamps/m -480 lamps/m, which ensures a high degree of color consistency of the product, uniform and linear illumination, and pure and bright light color. Traditional strip lights only have dozens to a hundred lamp beads, and the purity and uniformity of light are unmatched by COB strip lights.
Is the higher the indicator of the lamp, the better? By comparing and analyzing the color temperature, indicators and luminous flux of different light sources, it is found that the higher the indicator of most light sources, the lower the luminous flux, that is, the lower the luminous efficiency. Low display means that the brightness of the lamp is slightly higher, and high display means that the color of the lamp is slightly better. There is a visual difference, but not big. When the scene accuracy is not high and the investment budget is limited: From a more economical perspective, the requirements for explicit indication can be moderately reduced. Explicit indication > 80° is enough, especially for outdoor lighting scenes.
Generally speaking, high CRI COB strip lights take into account the high visibility of lighting products, no dark spots, and uniform lighting. It is very suitable for indoor and outdoor lighting design, easy to transport and cut, and has been widely used in hotels, exhibition halls, shops, car tail lights and other fields. When installing and using COB strip lights, you should pay attention to the problem of voltage drop. Voltage drop means that if the strip lights are connected in series longer, the voltage actually supplying power to the strip lights will be lower. The actual effect is that the final brightness will be different.
