How to distinguish the quality of light strips

• Check the solder joints. The solder joints on the LED light strip are relatively smooth and the amount of solder is not much. The solder joints extend from the FPC pad to the LED electrode in an arc shape.
• Check the quality of the FPC. FPC is divided into copper-clad and rolled copper. The copper foil of the copper-clad board is convex, which can be seen from the connection between the pad and the FPC if you look closely. The rolled copper is closely connected to the FPC and can be bent arbitrarily without the pad falling off. If the copper-clad board is bent too much, the pad will fall off, and the high temperature during maintenance will also cause the pad to fall off.
• Check the cleanliness of the surface of the LED light strip. The LED light strip produced by SMT technology has very good surface cleanliness, and no impurities and stains can be seen. The copycat version of the LED light strip produced by hand welding technology will have stains and traces of cleaning on its surface no matter how it is cleaned.
• Check the packaging. Regular LED light strips will be packaged in anti-static coils, 5 meters per roll or 10 meters per roll, and the outside of the package will be sealed with anti-static moisture-proof packaging bags. The knockoff version of the LED light strip uses a recycled reel, without an anti-static and moisture-proof packaging bag. A careful look at the reel shows that there are traces and scratches on the surface when the label is removed.
  
• Look at the label. Regular LED light strip packaging bags and reels will have printed labels, not printed labels.
  
• Look at the accessories. Regular LED light strips will have instructions for use and light strip specifications in the packaging box, and will also be equipped with LED light strip connectors or card holders; while the knockoff version of the LED light strip packaging box does not have these accessories, because some manufacturers still save money after all.
